You might want to check out the Vadelah Chronicles for some Christian science fiction that really fleshes out Christianity. Check it out at www.vadelahchronicles.com.
I think you'll like it.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04214102372807562918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7183267989760217643.post-294683102340024302007-04-01T12:59:00.000-07:002007-04-01T12:59:00.000-07:00Terri is right. Recently I read in a Voice of the Martyrs that Chinese Christians are PRAYING it will come to our country. They see it as (1) the only way for our churches to be cleansed and (2) the only way for us to relearn utter reliance on God.

-Dan Gravesriftstonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12526792111704891764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7183267989760217643.post-6298364100699568322007-02-17T11:07:00.000-08:002007-02-17T11:07:00.000-08:00A very good article. I know it can be very hard to create a moving story with a peace loving Christian main character.

So much of what you wrote has been rolling around in my subconscious as I write my own fiction.

-Brandon BarrBrandon Barrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03850891283015240498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7183267989760217643.post-38432277379653343672007-02-06T20:30:00.000-08:002007-02-06T20:30:00.000-08:00I look forward to it.

I would love to see more secular stories in all genres which simply has sympathetic Christian characters.Terri mainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05084883478386476891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7183267989760217643.post-6348188396735024332007-02-06T10:00:00.000-08:002007-02-06T10:00:00.000-08:00I love this post--esp the idea of weeping for your...I love this post--esp the idea of weeping for your enemy and finding love and forgiveness for him. I've worked similar themes into a trilogy I'm market right now. Ironically, it's a secular fantasy with a lot of Catholic and Christian elements.

Folks: read on in the next couple of months: if you like adventures with a true Christian or Catholic setting and not just Luke Skywalker Finds God, check out Light at the Edge of Darkness (mentioned in the next post) and (for a lighter-handed approach) Infinite Space, Infinite God, which Terri will talk about in April.Karina Fabianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06937791512486438983noreply@blogger.com
